I don't usually write more than 2000 words, so writing this exceeded my expectations. One of the lines from the 2000s film "Requiem for a Dream." It made me think about how Kyomoto felt all that time by Fujino's side. Because Kyomoto is introduced to us as an antisocial girl who doesn't leave the house or attend school. All we have are her drawings in the newspaper, but her classmates never really knew who she was. When Fujino needs to give her her certificate, it's the first time she finally sees Kyomoto, and they have their first interaction. It's sweet to see how Kyomoto was inspired by Fujino while she used that as fuel to improve until she simply gave up.

For someone who didn't leave the house, who had no friends, who didn't even interact with the outside world, Fujino was everything to Kyomoto. All the moments, from the smallest to the biggest. It was part of her, it built her as a person. So much so that she had finally decided to go to art college and was determined to be able to interact with other people.

For me, some of Chase Atlantic's songs strongly remind me of Togame, but the main one that stands out to me is "I Don't Like Darkness." Before that, we see Togame as a bully until the end of the fight. During his fight with Sakura, we discover through his fists why Shishitoren ended the way it did. It shows that Chouji invited Togame to Shishitoren after seeing him beat up some guys and praising his strength. I think that seeing how Togame used to be, it's noticeable that he wasn't someone who lived surrounded by friends or anything like that. This is also one of the reasons why Togame wanted to commit to Chouji's idea, even though he thought it was wrong. He valued him and wanted him to continue having fun, being the sunshine of Shishitoren.

One of the things that also makes me realize or get the idea that Togame was lonely is about his hobbies. The idea of ​​a teenager like him playing "Go and Shogi" with elderly people at that age and spending time in public baths seems kind of lonely, doesn't it? Because we see how others are surrounded, even if it's only a little, they still are. And yet we see Togame only having Chouji as a fixed link.

Then we have our famous fight between Togame and Sakura where everything changes. Sakura, empathizing with Togame, tells him that he should change and stop with these twisted ideas. That he should be a nice guy, where we can see in the manga that he really tried.
