Did you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day? It fuels you for the rest of the day and promotes weight maintenance or even weight loss by maintaining blood glucose levels and your metabolism. I really don’t understand why so many people skip breakfast, not only is there so many tasty options but for people in a hurry rushing to get out the door there are also so many healthy grab and go options as well! This morning I am enjoying a homemade sausage burrito and it took less than 3 minutes to cook the eggs and put the whole thing together. Here’s how: I scrambled my eggs and microwaved them for about 1 minute 45 seconds (I used the Tupperware breakfast maker BUT it can be done in a mug also - it may just not be as easy to to clean after). I used a whole wheat wrap, put my eggs in that, added some precooked sausage which all I had to do to heat up was microwave for a few seconds and topped with some salsa and a side of fruit. So tasty and quick! Even the baby loved it!
