Getting Ash to show affection is like pulling teeth. No anesthetic.
That being said, if reader is in a relationship with her, they already know this. In fact, they must be extremely good at picking up subconscious hints being dropped and being able to analyze a person, their actions, and their words. If they aren't... well, they'd never get this far with Ash. And Ash probably wouldn't like them anyway
Ash's love language is 100% acts of service. You cannot convince me otherwise. The way Ash shows you she cares about you is by bringing you food (if you're human), reminding you to take your medication (if you take any), giving you a massage if you complain that your back hurts. If you need something, she'll help you.
She won't ask you if you need help, she'll just take it upon herself to do it. In her mind, she can do it more efficiently and she'll be saving you time. And effort.
Like if you're struggling to open a jar, she'll take it out of your hands without asking and open it for you. If you're reading instructions for a piece of Ikea furniture, you'll look up and find Ash there, completed product next to her. Cant reach something? She comes up behind you, grabs it, hands it to you, walks away.
She will not tell you she loves you with her words. She'd rather murder someone in cold blood... again. But if you're with her long enough, eventually, maybe, at some point she will almost begrudgingly say "I... care... about you." And you'll just have to accept that that's the best you'll get.
Even admitting that she cares about you will have her blushing. Not literally. She is a simulacrum after all. But if she were still human, she'd be blushing. Angrily.
Another way Ash shows love is by protecting you. She'll hold your hand everywhere you go so that she can quickly pull you away from danger at any given moment. She'll throw herself in front of a prowler if it's about to snap at you. She can be fixed — you can't. Someone's bothering you at the bar? She's got her hand around their throat, dangling them in midair.
She will confront anyone on your behalf!!! You know the meme where it's like "Excuse me, he asked for no pickles"? That's Ash except she'd threaten the poor employee at the register. She will get especially hostile if you have allergies.
