john gets bored of being a villain (he amassed enough money to go live a nice life now and smitty asks him to quit being a villain every time they fight(most insane way to ask someone out btw)) and is now smittys house husband. the day kryoz dropped off the earth smitty implied he killed john to the media to get them to not try to track john down. shit happens in the main story and john somehow ended up being clooless’ hero teams dispatcher (their old dispatcher quit and puffer complained to smitty and smit went ‘i know just the guy’)(bonus points if johns existence has been alluded to the story for a while but this is the first time we meet him) and now in the current day story clooless sees smitty interacting with his bf at hero headquarters and go ‘aw arent they cute’ and cuts to a scene of john helping someone whos getting robbed in an alleyway so he beats the shit out of the robber with his badass powers. yes we will have a running joke of clooless trying to guess johns ‘hero’ identity (droid thought he was kryoz since he found out him and smitty were dating)(he was stalking the fan conspiracies on twitter bc he was a BIG fan of john)
