GROUP DYNAMICS
During our facilitation, we were able to observe the group dynamics of each team, especially during the activity where we had to transfer the ball across bottles. It was interesting to see how dedicated each group was in completing the task. Members communicated actively with one another, giving instructions, encouraging their teammates, and adjusting their strategies to make sure the ball would successfully pass through each bottle. The activity became more engaging because everyone was involved and focused on achieving a common goal.
From a social psychology perspective, the activity clearly showed the importance of communication, cooperation, and teamwork in group performance. Some groups displayed strong coordination and unity, which helped them work more efficiently. At the same time, we also noticed how competitiveness emerged among participants, as some groups became more driven to win. Despite this, the overall atmosphere remained positive, as the participants were enjoying the game while still supporting their teammates. This experience highlighted how group dynamics, such as shared goals, interaction, and motivation, can influence how individuals behave and perform within a group.
