I know it's dinner time, where is my dinner?
This is my bathtub now!
There are loud sounds and bright lights outside! I keep walking around my tank because of it.
I'm not scared!....Ok, I might be a LITTLE scared ...
This is MY spot!

Hi there! I don’t know if you’d have any info on this, but I’m wanting to add more enrichment to my Leo’s tank by adding some new smells. I’ve tried looking online for what would be a safe scent to add but can’t find much of anything. Would you happen to know if mint or vanilla watered down could be applied around a tank? Or maybe have any references for enrichment ideas? (Kreuger is adorable btw)
Hello!
Any time I add any enrichment I use things where I can be physically present, and this includes scents. For scents sometimes I give her easy things I can find around my kitchen like extracts (and she really enjoys scratch and sniff stickers). I also like to put holes in a toilet paper tube and put the crickets in them and she will try to get them through that. Also, don’t be shy to re-arrange the tank every few months! That gives them something to do as well!
What should I feed my leo? Everything I read says crickets and mealworms but I feel like they’re not nutritious enough :/ I have a blue tongue skink and she eats all kinds of stuff (I know they’re different as far as diet, I’m just not sure How different) Thank you!
Hello!
Since leopard geckos are insectivores, they rely mostly on crickets and mealworms. Some superworms are fine as a snack from time to time, but as long as you gut load crickets ahead of time then that will be perfectly fine.
What padding do you use in their hiding spot? It doesn't look like what's laid out and I was curious :D
Originally Krueger had wet paper towel in her wet hides but I have recently switched to Eco Earth!
Also the rock formation has a hamster bed in it. She really enjoys hamster beds.
So I am getting ready to get a leopard gecko and I have a question about supplements I wanted to know if geckos need any other supplements other than calcium thank you in advance!
Hello!
Usually for supplements the one i really place in her tank is a bit of calcium. Although when it comes to gut loading the crickets she eats, I feed them a mix of bearded dragon food, lettuce, carrots and some cricket food from Fluekers. Potatoes are also an excellent source for gut feeding.
Remember to keep cool on hot days!

Today is my adoption day! I have been with my owner for two years!
Time for a snooze!
It's too warm outside!
Hello! I hope I am not being a bother, but I have five leopard geckos, but recently one has stopped eating. She'll stop eating for like a week and then eat one cricket, and then go another week without eating. I'm really worried about her, is there anything I can do?
Hello!
Sometimes during the winter leopard geckos will enter a brumation, or the lizard equivalent of hibernation. They also might stop eating around shedding time. But if one of your leos stops eating completely, and this is something that is not normal for them, I highly suggest bringing them to a vet to make sure that they are alright.
Good luck!
Don't forget to get my good side!
