As many of you know, one of my struggles with Carter is to get him asleep on his own. Tonight he woke up, and I got up with him, changed his diaper, let him crawl a little, and set up this tent with old pillows, blankets, and put up twinkle lights. We crawled into the tent and I gave him a bottle. The little guy fell fast asleep on his own in the tent from his Gigi. I am awake just watching my sweet son all snuggled out in his little tent. Totally my child! I used to get u p at 4:30 am to work out... Now I just play with this happy baby. After 7 months, you just roll with it. He is happy and fun... oh well! We get a good morning and afternoon nap, go to bed at a decent hour, guess he just wants special mommy time in the mornings. My dad and my time was always in the mornings. We would do coffee or breakfast and chat. My time with my father in law is also mornings, and the time I get a good conversation in with my mom.
