Platonic Soulmates, Winx/Specialists Edition
So, they’re all friends obvs but there are certain friendships -in my opinion- that they’d be just, soulmates but platonic. So here they go in no specific order.
Flora and Riven, if you read Burning Ashes you know that I love these two as besties. Flora helps Riven be more vulnerable and not be afraid of connecting with others, he helps her stand up for herself more and be more confident.
They go out for coffee at least once a week, Flora is one of the only people allow to tease Riven in s1 and s2. Riven loves Flora and is kinda protective of her, at some point in s2 they’re both just hating the fact that they have crushes on Musa and Helia and just complain laying on Riven’s bed and teasing each other about their incompetence when it comes to handling crushes and I feel like that’s the best way to sum up their friendship.
Stella and Sky, they’ve known each other since birth, are known to be constantly tripping each other and even pushing one another into bushes. They’re just chaotic. They’re pretty much siblings and would absolutely kill for each other. They talk about the pressures they feel as the next Queen and King of their planets. They’re on a mission to try every ice cream in the galaxy.
Aisha and Brandon, they’re sporting besties. They often go to skate together and gossip. Brandon is the extrovert to Aisha’s initial shyness (Aisha is an extrovert but due to years of being locked up and having no friends her age, Brandon really helps her come out of her shell). Aisha helps him with realizing that he doesn’t always have to be the strong one and the protector.
Bloom and Timmy, they’re two chaotic redheads. They get very competitive when it comes to videogames and love going out for cheeseburgers. Bloom sometimes hangs out at his place drawing while he’s working on different projects. Timmy absolutely has had to hold Bloom back in more than once when her anger gets the better of her. They’re also very sibling-like. They’ve embarrased Tecna and Sky by taking Just Dance waaaaaayyyy too seriously.
Musa and Helia, they connect thanks to their art. They hang out on parks and also go out for coffee. They’re that meme, she was punk he did ballet but make it platonic. She’s pretty much the only one that can make him go sassy. Sometimes he’ll do her hair while they chat. If either of them gets artist block, the other will take them on a roadtrip or try to do something to help the other get inspired. He makes her soft.
Tecna and Nabu, they’re probably the chillest of the bunch so they just lay back and relax together. The dorm is on fire, AIsha and Timmy are running around and these two are just sipping tea, working on a little project like, so, how should we fix this glitch? They’re just so calm and they really enjoy each other’s company. Nabu will sometimes get her to do something out of her comfort zone but for the most part they enjoy each other in silence. Though Tecna would absolutely kill for him.
