Luffy's coma theory AKA The One Piece conspiracy theory
(caution this theory has to be in Luffy's point of in the world around and I'll be saying Luffy and boy back and forth.)
The whole story and world of One Piece takes place in Luffy's head, presumably a child's imagination ages 5 to 7 who got into an accident leaving him in a coma the boy loves stories about Pirates like from books and TV shows. Fantasizing himself as a pirate with his imagination until he got into a car crash he survived but barely leaving him in a coma wish he dreams of a world of pirates does he creates the series one piece through his imagination. Which explains why there are human fish and animals that acts like humans referring to them as different races it's because they're based on his imagination creating his own humans and alongside his own species of animals and fish along with the strange weather phenomenon and Giants and dinosaurs weird Islands and countries and so much more and most importantly magical fruit which according to Vega Punk or based on people's desires presumably Luffy's desires in his world to give to everyone. the. straw hat crew suppose represents different kids and teachers he met who all had tragic lives some of them in life and ties into the cannon story of One Piece.
#1 Zorro's based on a kid beat up at the playground who was cool and never talked to your kids or even cared about the teachers been bloody and bruised by bullies that he helped him and help some fight against hisbullies it became good friends
#2 nami's based on a girl she knew at class who suffered from abuse from her adopted father after her mom died who and left with her sister and her a piece of Father which represents arlong.
#3 usopp could be based on a a weird kid who would always tells lies and may have stories which Luffy's found funny and licenses for stories always laugh together and why they're good friends in Canon
#4 Sanji was a kid who got beat up by his brothers and similar to Nami his biological father was abusive to him besides from her mother who died from an illness at the hospital and older sister well his dream in real life wants to become a great cook to impress his family and friends.
#5 Tony Tony Chopper to be based on his pet dog.
#6 Nico robin represents a shy girl We suffers from loneliness due to being an orphan that all her life after her mother died in a fire accident when she was only four he knew that always goes to the library and reads quietly and why she never hangs up with the other children besides from Luffy and his friends who cared about her.
#7 Franky could be a normal or in a teenager the big kid around the block the cool guy that Luffy sometimes hangs out with
# 8 Brook represents his music teacher
The funny and weird guy who tells jokes full of energy enough to play every instrument.
#9 jinbe is his parental teacher teaching Luffy behave and paying attention in being struck Richard explains why he's lies on the crew.
The Marines soldiers and emeralds between the different classes pacifistas and germa 66 could be the action figures and toys he and his brothers was stuck playing with.
ace and Sabo will play with Luffy and pretend that their pirates on their Adventures and almost acting like brother real brothers since Luffy is a single child.
garp represents his real Grandpa would never play with Luffy and always busy with work.
Monkey d Dragon remissence the boy's of divorce father since he is a wanted criminal the boy never knew him that well being absence in his life even when his mother died from giving birth being left by his grandpa to raise him.
dandan represents the boy's aunt you always take care And babysit when his grandpa is out.
Dr Vega Punk represents the boys' science teacher being the smartest man in the world he thinks that he his brain is a gigantic lightbulb.
The seven Warlords and kaido big mom and many other villains in the series represents Luffy's bullies and his friends abusers he was a mess himself one day helping his friends to stand up and fight against them to solve their problems and to be strong and deeply cares about his friends.
Boa Hancock represents the boys Crush that she had in class who had feelings for him
Teach represents the boys mean nephew who would pick on him.
Shanks represents the boys new father who Luffy always hangs out with treat him like his actual father they never knew.
makino represents the boy's new mother there's always caring and loving to Luffy.
gaimon ever since the boys crazy uncle.
Lagoon represents the boys plush doll that
he always cuddles with and his music teacher having a fascination with whales.
The world government represents the boys fear on and heavy burdens on reality treating them like monsters of Power like the five elders turning into Eldridge creatures from his nightmares.
And finally the sun god nika in movie Stella fruit represents his imagination is it God like figure and gear 5 cartoonish abilities are based on his experience with cartoons that he we'll watch and fantasizing that his superpower is turn himself into rubber and why he gets squash and stretch through his imagination.
