this episode is so emotional. 

gabrielle gave up her life of peace and nonviolence the second she saw xena fall. her face when she realizes she might lose xena is so powerful. she literally went crazy killing people to save xena’s life. xena was the only thing that mattered. she protected the one who saved her a million times and wow was it everything. xena having a broken spine and waking up in gabrielle’s arms, not caring about anything else but her. they were literally being executed side by side and their love was all that mattered.
