Still Got Some Fight Left In Me

First of all, I want to with everyone a very happy holidays!!! While for many it’s a time of celebration and joy, for families like mine it’s quickly become darkened by debt and worsening health. From getting my resent diagnosis of Dysautonomia (NCS and POTS) to finally getting some relief after being bedridden for months (in the form of my wheelchair)… To go from specialist to specialist and buying an ever increasing amount of tools needed to just to function… We have quickly found that as bad as my health is hurting us, the money spent on it is equally as crippling.

Over the past 9 months I’ve had to quit my job (Loosing the only other income besides my single mothers pay check)… Drop out of school… Travel thousands of miles for appointments… And buy everything from my wheelchair to compression stockings to a shower vague all out of pocket.

I’ve never been one who’s been able to ask for help. But I feel for the sake of my mom it’s time.

My illnesses include: Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS) Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS - Type 3) Orthostatic Hypotension Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Hypoglycemia And more (Undiagnosed)
