Tomorrow’s my last day here. Feels so surreal!
A year ago this time around I’d pray hard to let ppl see me and take me out of this place. Little did I know that a year later this date would becoming one of the last memories I’ll encounter here.
The journey wasn’t easy and smooth but I made it through with the ppl here. They’ve been a blessing since day 1 of welcoming me, a new comer with zero skills and knowledge. Taught me from nothing and here I am now. Felt a little proud when I handed in my resignation, she said “but I need you amira” ..
Nothing could ever replace these memories the goods and bads. As much as I feel heavy and sad to leave this place, I know it’s for the better. Leaving here and moving to selangor might seems usual but moving during a pandemic of which I’ll never know when I could go home it’s breaking me but I held it in.
I know once I left here everything would be so different that I’d have to start from zero, to make friends, get used to the environment, new house, new place, new projects. That does excite me BUT IM SCARED. what if I’ll never be good enough for them. How could I run away ... where could I run to ? ..
(These are all in my head everyday and I’m really scared :(
Hopefully I won’t cry as much tomorrow in front of them. GAHHHH going to buy some sweets and pens for all my colleague today. Hope you guys are staying safe and healthy. Thank you for everything. It truly feels like a family here ♥️)
