On the radio show, KBS Cool FM’s Jang Dongmin and Lady Jane’s 2’o clock, where new girl group, Gfriend, was appearing as a guest, member Umji, picked IU’s Night of the first break up” as her favorite song.

JDM: Who picked IU’s song as the next song?

U: Me! I’m Umji

LJ: Umji, what’s your reason for picking IU?

U: I’ve always really respected IU sunbaenim.the reason why I picked this song (Night of the first break up) is that: one time, when I was washing the dishes, I was watching a music show and at the time IU was having her comeback stage and was singing this song. It made me so emotional that I dropped the dishes and broke them.

JDM: Oh really?

U: Lost all my senses as I was listening to it

JDM: You broke the dishes? Like in a movie? Omo

U: I’ve always thought that she was so pretty and I really like her voice so I picked IU and I also really like this song.

JDM: Have you ever meet her?

U: Nope but I really want to

JDM: Really? If you do meet her, what will you do?

U: I will her that I’m a fan~

What’s a male celebrity that you’d really like even if you were just imagining it?

With my personality, I don’t really have that one person that I can pick and that I’ve liked for a really long time. So it’s really hard me to choose, can I change the question to a female celebrity instead? I have so many to choose from if it’s about a female celebrity. I would pick IU sunbaenim, whose songs I’ve been listening to a lot lately.

(other than Shinbi, all the memebers have mentioned a few times about being fans of IU in radio, interviews, etc)

[+22,-5] I’a a Uaena. I already had good feelings about Gfriend and since they like IU too, I really like them. IU is having a comeback in the fall so during this year’s end of the year ceremonies, if Gfriend manage to win the best rookie award they’ll be able to meet IU~ If that happens, they can tell her that they’re fans for sure!
