Today is already the most perfect birthday I have ever had. I feel so special and adored. Woke up with my chou and he made us tea. Friends are coming in from all over France and Europe to celebrate today with me (who does that!), I feel so lucky.

It's October 2016 and I am currently in the middle of nowhere, France. In 2 days it's my 24th birthday and I will spend it with friends and with the guy I am beginning to fall in love with. On December 1st I officially move back to Paris to start a life there (with a job!). I also possibly landed my dream apartment today in a great neighborhood. I'll be spending New Years in Paris with the guy who has my heart and I feel like everything is a total dream. He really might me the one for me.

Not gonna forget the night we went to that familiar LA bar where you introduced me to your friends and I was your girl. Soon before last call we snuck away to the beach and you held me near the waves and asked about my childhood. Being entwined with you in the sand was my favorite thing that night. You rolled a cigarette on the dashboard of my car and played Russian classical music while we learned about who we are and what lead to this moment.

Lucky that my life has remained full of consistent love. Spent a lot of time with a guy that I felt I could love. He said he was searching for the real thing too. Dated a guy after who felt wrong in many ways and I'm working on paying attention to signs. This whole week has been about a guy who was the best I've had so far and I've never felt so physically compatible with someone in my life.
