Below is another design that I have put together for the exhibition, I wasn't sure if I wanted this to be a shirt design or not but I feel it would look better on a smaller scale like a sticker.

I created these skeleton illustrations as a project inspired by my visit to 'SUP' in New Brighton. I thought that these illustrations would like great on the back of a black shirt.

I have decided to use an illustration from a previous submission for my exhibition as I am proud of the work I have done and it would be a shame to not include it somewhere.

I have created another sticker design for the exhibition wall. This sticker is a devil face and I think it will work well amongst the other existing illustrations as it is bright and bold.

I created an illustration of a grim reaper for a shirt design. I think this illustration would work well on the pocket of a shirt as a simplistic design piece.

I went and spoke to my tutor about my plans for the exhibition and he drew out a sketch to plan out what I am requiring.

I have created a sticker of myself to include on the exhibition wall. I wanted to include something that looks like me to enforce that the exhibition is a self promotional piece.

Below is another sticker I have created for the exhibition, this one is a favourite because I like how the shading has worked on the design and I think it shows that my illustrative ability is improving.

Below is one of the designs I have created for a sticker to go into my exhibition. I have chosen to create a sticker related to the football team that I support as this exhibition is self promotion and I want to create stickers that show off who I am and what I'm interested in.

I have created the stickers with white and black backgrounds depending on the colour of the exhibition walls.

I have created a design that I would like to see on the back of a white t-shirt. This piece is called 'XO'.

For this exhibition brief, I am wanting to promote myself through my design work. I am wanting to use black and white pocketed t-shirts to heat transfer my designs onto. I took a look into costs of the shirts and the DTF (Direct To Film) printing costs:

The pocketed t-shirts online are around £16 for a pack of x5, I am going to take a look in Primark at their shirts to see if I can find some for a better price.

Printing costs for DTF seem to be reasonable and I feel that for the t-shirts I will only need x3-5 pieces of A3 with my designs fitted into that artwork space.

I have also mocked up a pack for these stickers through Photoshop. I am proud of these stickers and I feel that the hard work has paid off.

Below are my design solutions for one of my negotiated briefs - London In Terror.

I am proud of how these illustrations have developed and they have given me more confidence in my ability.

I have put together an Adobe Illustrator document with my character stickers laid out with thin outlines ready for print.

When the document is printed, it will be sent through to the printer without the layer of the outlines to print the characters onto a sticker paper. Once this is done, the document will be sent to the vinyl cutting printer with the outlines only and the sticker sheet of characters will be fed through the machine to have the outlines cut - this will create the peel-away stickers.

Below is the result of the printing, I have a roll of character stickers which I will need to cut separately and then I will have the individual stickers for the submission.

To tie the character illustrations together as a project, I've decided that I will need to give them names to bring the characters to life. i haven't decided on all of their names yet but I have decided that the cat will be called 'Crumples' and the rest of the characters will fall under the bracket of 'The Creepz' which forms the project name 'Crumples + the Creepz'.

Below is the typography plans I have put together for the project name, I want the 'logo' of the project to be simplistic but also have a fun element to it to match the cartoon style of the characters.

I have also included the colour palette for this project which combines the character colours.

My preferred typeface for this project is 'Cartoon Marker' as it is light and playful but also is bold and stands out against the background which will be required depending on whether I use a dark or bright coloured background for the sticker mock-up packaging.
