Aww, Koujaku week was amazing! Thank you so much @koujaku-week for the amazing prompts! l really appreciate the work you guys went through to bring us this! l’ve never drawn so much, and consecutively either! Man, l was so inspired this week! SO anyways, this drawing was for the last day of Koujaku Week, Day 7! i put both prompts in one bc i really couldn’t draw two separate drawings like l wanted to ;-;

(l was alos very much inprored by @magemg‘s amazing KouAo art and wanted to make a monochrome comic like her! She’s such sempai ,material <3<3

l love you Koujaku, l can’t wait to celebrate your birthday for the fourth time next year ~ <3

San-San-Kudo KouAo DJ - part 1

At last!!!! I planned to post this on Koujaku’s birthday but I ran late TTwTT.

But luckily, last prompt of @koujaku-week is “Engagement “ so I’m still on time ^^’’!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOUJAKU!!!! ENJOY YOUR ‘MATSURI’ ♥ ♥ ♥

(please have mercy and forgive the mess… It’s actually my first comic and I struggled so much TTwTT).

Notes:

- Junmai daiginjo-shu (純米大吟醸) is regarded as the highest-grade sake. The best products in this class deliver a good blend of refined taste with acidity and umami.

-Sakazuki cups: oldest sake cup style, with a wide mouth, it is still the favorite for ceremonies nowadays. The cup is usually lifted and taken to the mouth with two hands, one at the bottom, and one on the side, in a dramatic yet symbolic ceremonial consumption of sake. Usually, and although variably in sizes, the sakazuki contains only a few sips within it

-Chikai-no-sakazuki (Exchange of Nuptial Cups) 誓いの盃 The bride and groom exchanges nuptial cups three times and drink three sips from each of the three cups of the rice wine that was placed before the kami. This is generally called “san-san-kudo 三々九度” (literally, three three nine,referring to the three sips from three cups, total of nine sips).

“I have a feeling that Koujaku decided to do Aoba’s hair, but got carried away and gave him pigtails. He was about to go the whole nine yards and have Aoba get into a dress, but grandma walked in and gave him a good smack in the head. All the while, Aoba is trying not to openly tease him” A quick sketch for Koujaku Week, day 4! l’ve been so artblocked lately, ugh… l’m still planning on drawing the AU since l’ll be talking a break today from the daily prompts.
