Beginning - How did they come into your life? Were they originally as big a part of your life as they are now?

Quality Time - How do they spend their time with you? Do they like to lay on you while you pet them? Watch movies with you? Play with toys with you?

Recreation - What toys do they own? Do they play with them? Do they prefer to play with them with you or on their own? What are their favorite toys, and which ones do they not enjoy at all? How playful are they? 

Scratch - What are their claws like? Do they scratch often? What about scratching furniture? 

Tail - What is their tail like? Is it sensitive? In what way? What color is it? Is it fluffy or sleek? 

Understanding - When you leave, do they whine about it? Or do they understand? Do they allow you to go? Or demand you bring them? 

Vocalizations - What are their cat sounds like? Are they high-pitched or low-pitched? Do they sound needy? What kind of sounds do they make? What causes them to make those sounds? 

Whiny - Do they whine when they don't get their way? Which of your appliances suffers for it? Or do they knock things off your counters? 

X-Ray - Are they attuned to your needs and wants? Or do they sometimes need to be clued in? Are they apologetic or saddened if they don't understand what you want/need? 

Yearning - Do they miss you when you're gone? Or do they manage to entertain themselves until you return? What do they do when they miss you?

In all seriousness, here's your HCs! They were super cute and fun to write! Let me know if you'd like anything changed, as always!

Tsumugi has made Shuichi be her living mannequin more than once. Not that Shuichi minds per se, it's nice to see her happy. But he could definitely do without being jabbed in the side with a sewing needle every now and again, though.

Whenever Tsumugi gets on herself about being plain, Shuichi is quick to take her hands in his, kiss her on the cheek, which is very efficient at shutting the easily flustered girl up.

The two came up with pet names for each other, to ease each other's self-hate.

Tsumugi calls Shuichi "Pretty Boy", "Cutie", "Honey", and "Love". Shuichi calls her "Princess", "Angel", "Sweetheart", and "Beautiful". Needless to say, it works pretty well.

Shuichi will happily attend conventions with Shuichi, either to cosplay with her as a couple or simply to cheer her on and keep the creeps away from her. Female cosplayers go through too much shit.

Saihara is also a law enforcement member, so he's always legally allowed to be armed, which comes in handy for scaring off the creeps.

Not that Shuichi would ever kill them for real, of course, although the thought has crossed his mind on more than one occasion.

Tsumugi is the first one to comfort Shuichi after he encounters something traumatic on the job. A dead body, a murder scene, a suicide, a shootout, anything. And she was the one to convince him to start therapy for those traumatic scenes he was forced to witness.

They like to cuddle at night! Namely, Tsumugi burrows herself in Shuichi's chest while Shuichi holds her there. He likes to feel like he's protecting her.

Tsumugi does most of the household chores, while Shuichi simply watches/helps. Tsumugi insists that she wants to do things for him, since only his job makes real money, save for her selling her cosplays. But that's not saying much, considering her limited audience.

Shuichi still wishes Tsumugi would let him do more and share the responsibilities, though.

So occasionally, Tsumugi is awoken to breakfast already being cooked, or she'll be sewing when she smells cleaning supplies, and she knows Shuichi is doing his share of the chores.

Tsumugi likes to do all the cliche date stuff. Y'know, candlelit dinners, cafe dates, coffee shop dates, that sort of thing. She wants their lives to be like a shoujo anime.

Although Shuichi doesn't completely understand that desire of hers, occasionally, he gives in and lets her have things the way she wants.

She's cosplayed for Shuichi for funsies. For example, wearing a revealing maid outfit and some cat ears and flustering her poor timid boyfriend on purpose.

Shuichi gets the first view of her cosplays, and occasionally she lets him make adjustments. For example, changing certain colors he thinks suit her better. But of course, no matter how revealing, Shuichi doesn't say a word about it. Her clothes aren't an invitation to be creepy, after all. So she should be allowed to wear whatever she wants, revealing or otherwise.

He also knows that creeps don't care, they'll hit on her regardless of what she's wearing.

Tsumugi once made a comment that she'd be the perfect housewife, which made Shuichi flush red at the implication. Tsumugi giggled and revealed she was only joking, of course.

Shuichi often buys little jewelry and trinkets he sees while out that reminds him of Tsumugi. Anime posters, pretty sapphire earrings, and many other things.

So instead, for both her safety and yours, you two take separate paths and rides to get to joint destinations, and you two never go on public dates.

Maki, at first, is very annoyed with your flashy, loud talent. Loud people tend to annoy her to pieces, so she's quick to invest in noise-cancelling headphones. More for your sake than hers. Who wants their girlfriend yelling at them about being quiet all the time?

Eventually, your talent starts to grow on her and she begins to lose the headphones, instead just tuning you out when she doesn't want to listen to your singing.

She still refuses to be seen in public with you, though.

She has a less than legal talent. If paparazzi swarms you and someone recognizes her, it's game over for her. The police would have her within minutes.

You may exchange a few words here and there, but aside from that, she'll pretend as though she doesn't even know your name, much less who you are.

But of course, it's all a ruse. Inside, she would move mountains and part seas for you.

So instead, once you alone together in the safety of a private place, she'll be tsundere, but all over you. Snuggles, holding your hand, everything you two have to miss out on because of your very opposing talents.

Sometimes, she'll get serious and remind you in private that she does love you, and it's only for safety why she has to avoid you a good chunk of the time.

"S/O, you know I love you, right?"

Oftentimes, she wonders how she even got lucky enough to have you. After all, she's a cold-blooded killer, and you're practically an angel compared to her.

But with enough of your reassurance, she comes to understand that she does deserve you. And if you offer it to her, she'll happily agree to run away from her organization and go into hiding with you. She'll have a whole new identity, but she'll still be the same Maki Harukawa you fell in love with all those years ago.

And really, what's better than that? :)

Bonus: yes, her former "employers" burned the place to the ground in a "freak accident", after which your bodyguard smelled faintly of charcoal for a week.
