Softly flutter out of your mouth

And melt on your tongue

Taste my syllables

As they caress your lips

Turn me like soft pages

Feel me sigh with release

As your fingers brush my words

Take me deep into your mind

Let me become the desire

That burns with passion

Feel my lust as you read my story

As I open up before you

Spreading with language

Ripe with desire and love

Read my soul

I say goodbye but only in silence

I fade before your eyes

A magic show

That gets no applause

I am the ghost who is living

The undead friend

A zombie in your dreams

I am sorry for my cower

Even when I fade again

I reach for shadows always

And wait in the silence

That screams no sound

A blur that used to be

Rolling in with soft fog

I hope you can forgive me

Because it's my nature

To ghost

disdain distilled

for your pleasure,

so let me measure

contempt into cups

for you to consume

when you wake up

from dreams of humanity

Sometimes the breeze is light 

It kisses my cheeks

And plays with my hair

I feel it dancing along my skin

Almost lifting me up

Soothing my body like soft sighs and carrasses

Other times the wind comes

She is angry and vicious

A whirlwind of chaos and despair

I am thrown against her rage

Whipped like a leaf in her anger

She makes me fly high

Like a demon

Thinking hell is the sky

I am left feeling like a toy

A universal speck left to the mercy of the world

I float

I fall

I fly

But it makes me feel so very vulnerable

And I wonder what could come next

As I’m floating in the universe here on this planet

Always at the mercy of the wind
