After watching a video on parasitic wasps I began to wonder about my own species life cycle. For the word of lunara I imagine all of the moons are inhabited mainly by one species with several different races. I want to focus on Khonuki's race which aren't very different from the one on Lunara. Since they are praying mantis' I imagined them to have an ootheca but I also had an image of ant larvae in my head. Thus I decided to combine them and came up with a small concept sketch.

Helloo I thought I would introduce the page with a basic run down of my story✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧! In theory this is a speculative biology project that I'm doing for fun! It revolves around a planet with several moons. The mother planet is called lunara while the surrounding moons are colonized planets. Much of it is based of insect colony structures such as ants and wasps!I've mostly focused on the moon khonuki which is an entertainment district that hosts praying mantis inspired species. It draws inspiration from japanese traditional clothing and ant social structures!
