Uchiha Sasuke

The pathway towards Konoha's North gate was quiet when Sasuke teleported onto it. The only sound was old autumn leaves crunching beneath the Uchiha's feet as he made his to a place he now once again called home. It had been months since he had been home and even seen a society, a noisy and bustling colony of strangers, and now himself, the misfit. He would return and have to be a part of all of it, something he had been dreading for months. Thoughts escaped his mind when a distinct crunch of leaves could be heard not too far behind him. He turned to see a familiar face smiling at him. "How did you know I would return home from this side?"

It was true that the Uchiha may have been too on his guard. Something he was told was unfriendly. "Where are you heading then. Maybe I could help." Offering help? Maybe that was friendly he thought.

Crimson eyes glared, was this girl stalking him? Was she an enemy? "I'll only ask this once, Have you been following me?"

Beams of sunlight struck the young Uchiha’s face, the sound of businesses attracting there first customers of the morning could be heard from the park bench on which he lay. It became almost habit for Sasuke to lay there in the early hours of the morning. He knew his peace wouldn’t last long and soon enough the popular park would be filled with people.

A crack of lightning could be heard coming closer as the two walked up the path towards an unkept house. The porch stairs were broken and blood stains could still be made out across the floors and walls, a deep dark memory imbedded in the wood. “Yeah it was.” His eyes went almost silent as he stared through nothing, memories flooding in. He remembered a lot of life back then. Times spent with his family, close and distant, good and bad times that was the past. “We were quite the community.” He feigned a broken smile “and this building was actually my home.” He stretched a hand out and slid open the front door to the dinning room and stared dead inside, drops of water landing violently on his shoulder from the broken ceiling covering the outside deck. “Get inside before you get drenched.” 

The never fading smile of the young woman forced Sasuke to smile and nod “It would be cruel to send you home in this weather.” The wind began to pick up and faint echoes of thunder could be heard by the trained ninja’s ear. He took the first couple steps to the other side of the archway and lazily gestured to the girl to follow. “Come, I think one of the old houses here is still partially habitable.” His strides were long but slow, just a relaxed stroll through the place he used to call home. He wondered what Kadia was thinking, after all the entire location was off limits, even to the Uchiha. 

The sky greyed, warning the Uchiha of rain to come. He slowly lifted his hood over his head, covering most of his forehead. He liked the rain, it was the quietest time to walk through the streets of Konoha. No memories to be spurred by the anger and sorrow in the eyes of the people. Footsteps splattered in watery mud could be heard behind him, the culprit clearly not trying to sneak up on him. “If you don’t be careful you may get sick.” He sighed through an uncaring tone.
