Kido flinched as Takeru grabbed her hand, yanking it away quickly. Her shoulders rose and she seemed to sort of retreat into herself a bit, a slight blush rising to her cheeks.

"O-Oh, It's fine! I apologize for the...sudden action I just did before, I wasn't thinking about it at the moment." the boy adjusts his beloved hat and looked away from the girl embarrassed he continued walking but slower than before. Wow, that was real smooth.

"I suppose it’s worth a try, then." She shrugged. Honestly, she still wasn’t sure about the whole idea of a Baco Tell but it was worth a shot, at least to see what it tasted like. It still sounded pretty suspicious though.

"Alright, let's go, Kido!" he grabbed Kido's hand and started walking pretty rapidly. He was very excited to show her the island and now that he mentioned food he started to starve so he hurried a bit.

"Baco…Tell?" Kido raised an eyebrow, confused. Was that supposed to be a joke? It was a pretty bad one. "So there’s restaurants on this island too, then…?" It did make sense. How would the students eat otherwise?

"Yeah, Baco Tell!" the boy excitedly replies "It's a mexican fast food restaurant! But there's also this thing called Baco. It's like a normal hamburger but with taco fillings! It's pretty good, and I thought you should try it out, Kido and yes, there's also a cafe but I never went there before."

The green-haired girl laughed at that. “Bored, huh? Well if you’re that rich I suppose you can afford to do something like that out of sheer boredom. I sure do hope this is more than just some playboy’s passing fancy, though. Otherwise I’d just feel inadequate for worrying…”

"Yeah I hope the same..." the boy stops. Think Takeru think, you got this. "I-In any case! Would you like to go to Baco Tell? I went there once and I really like the food there! It'll be on me so don't worry about paying or anything."

"Oh yeah...now I remember everything! And you're right, I never saw you around before that thing." the boy adjusts his hat "I'm Takeru, nice to see you again, Stan".

"Hi there! And yeah...your voice actually sounds pretty familiar to me. I bet we did, but I'm not sure when and where but I feel like we did so pretty recently..."

Hat buddies are the best kind of buddies. “Thanks!” Adjusting it on his head, he shot a grin at the other. “One day we should totes trade an’ see if hats change perspectives.”

Hell yeah, they are. "You're very welcome! And yeah! We should totally do it one time, FInn!"

"Yeah, I noticed." Kido put her hands in her hoodie pocket, looking around. "How did they even get enough funding to build this stuff? Some billionaire must’ve backed the school…though you’d think something like that’d make the news, at least."

"I'm not very sure as well! But yeah, they must be millionaires to build this entire academy, If I'm right it has 5 big floors and I think they recently added a private island all for them. And nope...I never heard of anything about a 'huge and fantastic academy' in the news either so  really dunno who did all this...they must be very bored or somethin'"

"Oh! Well that’s rad too!"Better than being in dire need of something. That could have proven to be stressful. "Nice to meet ya’ too! I’m Finn. I like your hat!"

The boy chuckles a bit before replying "Thanks! I like your hat very much!". They're officially hat buddies now.
