The western idea of "transitioning" is seeped in homonationality. It is indistinguishable from it in mainstream discourse. The concept that your lived experience as a transfem, or even a transmasc at that, only begins once you "transition" in ways that are acceptable by western standards and largely inaccessible to the global majority is so far detached from reality that I am deeply remorseful to any person who is not a corepig that is tricked into believing it.
