naturally he turns to the person he trusts the most, with this being quite possibly the biggest risk he’s ever taken in his life. grabbing kobra at such a young age, running away without a single look back?  — was NOTHING compared to this. he shakes in his seat, just you watch!

“ what if ghoul ruins my hair and i want him dead? “

              don’t laugh, he’s genuinely scared!

                           “ why am i trusting someone who’s favorite color is NEON GREEN, anyways? “

well, at least red is a much more flattering shade than that  — he hopes, at least.

          a  brow  raises  ,  as  if  he’s  scared  at  his  brother’s  sudden  start.  not  a  moment  later  his  brows  are  knitting  together  ,  arms  folded  across  his  chest.  he  won’t  laugh.  he  will  not  laugh  ,  for  he  can  see  the  genuine  panic  in  the  man’s  eyes.

          but  c’mon  ---  ---  it’s  funny  ,  right  ?  he’s  not  the  only  one  who  thinks  that  ,  is  he  ?

          the  corner  of  his  mouth  quirks  ,  just  barely  ,  enough  of  an  indicator  to  his  amusement.

          ❝  listen  ,  bub.  i  think  ---  i  think  y’just  gotta  take  this  risk.  your  fate  lies  in  his  hands.  embrace  it.  ❞

          kobra  reaches  over  then  ,  hand  giving  his  brother’s  shoulder  a  brief  squeeze.

A single yelp tumbles from between lips amidst a failed attempt to shield himself from being shoved ;     failed,     mostly because he nearly slides right out from the booth they had posted up in for the hour,     but the heel of his boot catches on a table leg and Party manages to keep steady.  

“    Sayin’ that like it’s new information   -      what,     y’turn around and get blasted upside th’ head when nunna’ us were lookin’ ,     forget who you were talkin’  to  ?    ”        teasing words are paired with a mischievous and utterly shit - eating grin,       using the moment of stillness to his advantage before   (   very abruptly    )    raising a hand and smacking his brother in the ear.

“     JUST KIDDING,     I’m the ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR.    ”     he notes hurriedly before bolting out of his seat to avoid repercussions. 

          oh  ,  he  could  fuckin’  KILL  HIM.  in  fact  ,  he’s  considering  it  ,  scenarios  running  through  his  mind  a  mile  a  minute.  his  nose  scrunches  up  in  detest  ,  almost  upset  that  he  hadn’t  seen  the  man  fall  flat  on  his  ass.  he’d  have  to  fix  that  ,  wouldn’t  he  ?

          ❝  GOD  ,  who  on  earth  could  forget  who  they’re  talkin’  to  ,  when  you  don’t  stop  runnin’  ya  DAMN  MOUTH  ?  ❞  he’s  caught  off  guard  ,  though  that’s  not  completely  out  of  character.  a  gasp  ,  followed  by  an  attempt  to  grab  the  other’s  sleeve.
