I. Yoshida Akari

She’s actually rolled over and snoring as I write this, but she’ll see it eventually. We’re actually really new at having been together, but liked each other for a long time. There was once a point in my job where I was even more isolated than I am now and nobody really talked to me… whether it was out of fear for getting into trouble or even just fear of me, I’m not sure, but she was one of the only people that didn’t actually leave me alone, and I’m grateful.

II. Susuwatari

We… got a cat! A kitty. And my inner goth wanted a purely black cat, so we got one. I named him after one of those really cute soot sprites that you see in Totoro, his name is ‘Susu’ for short. We like lying on the floor together.

III. NMB48

I pretty much got forced into my job – got dropped off at the audition spot, tried failing the auditions, tried resigning once I got in and they didn’t let me. But I wouldn’t have met my girlfriend or my friends if any of those things didn’t happen, and I might be dead too. So every day, I wake up grateful, even if it doesn’t seem like it.

Floraison (bloom): Do they believe in love?

As a concept, yes – though she disagrees with several of the concepts society has built upon it. Aside from the given LGBT bit she’d say, she also finds romanticisation of absolute dependence on someone’s partner ridiculous, and thinks ‘love at first sight’ is bullshit, for lack of a better word.
