Why so CANCELLED, Batman? -The Woker

Another roll of thunder and the girls smile to each other, who doesn't love a good storm? As they step fully out into a clearing surrounded by trees and greenery, the wind picks up. The leaves in the trees whisper and dance, the underbrush waves back and forth; the wind catches the furs and feathers and scales of the different dragongirls, and each puts her face into the wind and looks up towards the darkened sky, anticipation in their eyes.

As the wind shifts and the rustle of leaves gets louder, they can just make out the sound of rainfall approaching. The sound of cascading water drumming on the foliage and rapidly approaching.

They can see the storm wall and share glances that turn into grins. Huge dragon teeth that shine even in the dim light of the storm.

Then it hits.

The force of the gale that carried that wall of rain staggers one or two of them, and they all giggle, and start to dance with each other in the downpour. They hop and frolic, bouncing from hind to forward legs as they get completely coated in the cool rain. Lightning strikes nearby and the thunder claps make them laugh louder.

As they splash in the newly formed puddles and gaze up at the sky, they shout over the sound of wind rain and thunder to each other in conversation and to make one another laugh. There is so much joy going around that the girls will laugh so hard they'll stumble into one another and crash to the ground still giggling.

As the lightning strikes grow further and further away, and the darkness recedes a bit, all of the dragongirls are laying in a haphazard and spread out pile. Tails over and under other girls, legs and arms woven together, wings pressed against wings, all sharing this moment, and still looking up at the sky as the soft sprinkle of what remains of the storm falls down on them.

When the swim is over the dragongirls get out of the water and shake violently on the riverbank - the scaled girl is already rather hydrophobic, but getting some of the water out from between the scales is important. The fluffy dragongirl, however, shakes and effectively waters the entire ecosystem in a huge radius. Including her friend again. It continues to rain back down for a few seconds, both of them laughing.
