DIY Inspiration: Ball Chain Resin Word Necklace

The word chain necklace, designed by Fleur Goedendorp, is described as being a “very fine ball chain” shaped into a word using a “special silicone rubber”.

Fleur Goedendorp’s yarn word necklace or wall art pieces are made from cotton thread and wire. There are lots of tutorials online on how to either wrap wire with thread/yarn to create words, or feed a wire through rope or french knitting. Here is a simple DIY from Simplicated for a French Knit Word with a wire core.
