My cat Daisy who was diagnosed with a heart defect at 7 months old just had her follow up check and they saw some improvement in the left atrium, which means she might get to stop taking her kidney damaging meds! The checkup was kind of cool because I got really interested in feline cardiology after she was diagnosed, and the day we went in, the vet happened to be training some of the staff and asked if she could explain in depth how her heart was functioning using drawings, which made me feel like a student.
Daisy did really well at the vet and is now chilling with the boys:)
