Guil's words that in his lifetime he was with Lawless, but could not do anything //with prince death// kick me to think that despite the name Guil plays the role of Horatio in real.

Cuz he is the one who tell us (the unsatisfied) about prince fate.

The servant, friend and the one who hits Hamlet on the head when it needed. At first I thought about the fact that Guildenstern (and Roenkrantz) was killed in the play. I thought that the same thing happened to Guil. BUT then I reread it and realized that Guildenstern in “Hamlet” was willing to die with Hamlet.

So Guil could volunteer to become a vampire.

We discussed the nature of the Hedgehog in our Russian Lawphelia sect. And one of my friends noticed some interesting points👇🏼

Fandom used to think that Lawless was always calm and sane (before The Meeting) but in new chapter we have a lot of gum for our brains.

He always was himself. As we know him now. But:

Lawless changed his behavior so much when he was with Ophelia. I don’t mean AFTER her death, which usually everybody payed attention to, but WITH her.

This can be explained by his love, of course, but it matters a lot to his character:

He is a prince himself. Quite elegant, as we can see when he visits Ash (oh these gloves…) proud, a bit arrogant. This is characteristic of his title and the era. He keeps his posture, in his behavior one can feel noble upbringing.

Now let's compare this with the old frames, where Lawless is Ophelia's servamp. Where are these things? Has he changed so much under the feelings? Just look at him…

He become her servant voluntarily, bowed his knee in front of her, despite the fact that he is from the same class as she... This says a lot (although if his kingdom is no more exist, then so is the title. However, we are talking about the soul. And I’m very interested what was in his head at the beginning, when he just became a servant)

Lawless, being the Greed, GIVES all time, one might even say "sacrifices" something (everything) for the sake of his beloved princess. He sacrificed status (he gave her his devotion as a knight, protector, servant, her toy and original coffe table), loyalty and time of his (un)life - I mean when he sat under the statue for so many years (he would have stayed there, probably until his death times), and - most important - he gives his happiness, because he let her go...

I think his behavior is also dictated by the knowledge of how society works. He is not just a guy who became her servant, he knows how a servant should do things, because he had servants himself. This is curious, he was a prince, then he was in love and sacrificial, then he wore the mask of a crazy killer for 300 years and now, after the loss of the power, he returned to the prince (?)
