I'm feeling a bit down, so wholesome art share is it! quickie lineless chibis.

June 11, 2024- I originally put 3 images here, but I figured the others would better go solo.

.. nevermind, that site's such a disfunctional mess I can't even finish Edward. I don't think I'll be bothering with it anymore tbh.

Sad, it was a fun idea but it's atrociously managed and there's no moderation.

Anyway! Little Badd and little Edward, whom I'll finish painting if the site ever comes back ^^ colors are kinda off, as the available palette is limited, but I had a lot of fun drawing these! I can always try pixel art elsewhere.

Not visible in the above image as maps started glitching out with close zoom, but I drew them both on one of the short mountains of my city, over the lake. it's a glacial lake, so it's compltely surrounded with mountains, North and South have completely different types of forest! (these are over the decidous, northern-placed but southern facing mountain, the hillsides at the other side of the lake are perennial, coniferous dominated forest)

Also kudos to whomever painted tiny lesbian and trans flags near my boys ^^

A quick Chibi art I made, of a silly scene in the Manga I ADORE. Done in August 04, 2024. I hope we get to see more of Badd and King! I adored their interactions.

Life keeps getting in the way, and lately, the evils of construction have been seriously messing up with my mental and even physical health (although I've found someone who's working properly after a needlessly long struggle and badly done work by the previous workers...) but I really want to get back into my fics, both published works and in progress oneshots, as well as several fanarts I have in the making ^^ both for OPM and FFIV!

I'll babble about my fic making in some other entry, but the truth is, I relate to Metal Bat a lot, and some of my fics get seriously self indulgent.

After last week's stress, things got solved by Wednesday, I cannot describe the sense of relief it meant ^^ something very major, that had been dragging on for months, is now done with.

So, in Saturday I decided to draw this scenario I've been thinking about lately.... a very powerful monster attacks Badd when he's with Zenko, and it won't allow him to get her to safety (either a ridiculously huge or a swarm type monster, something you can't hide from) so he has to fight it while carrying her in his arms... the fight is BRUTAL, but he successfully manages to kill the monster while protecting her, and Zen only gets a few scratches during the whole ordeal. Badd, however, is badly hurt at the end of the fight. So Zen acts like the hero we all know she is, and actually helps her big bro walk to safety (him leaning on her), the battle area/monster's corpse being unsafe due to whatever Reason. Of course, she has no super strenght but with great effort, actually manages to pull that ^^

I just thought I'd draw it (I can't draw kiddies, sorry). I have several of these mind scenarios I enjoy thinking about.

This image is by no means flawless and has too many details I'd love fixing, but after the crazy stress from the first half of the week, which crashed into some insane tiredness by the second half, there was a certain vent/comfort factor in drawing it.
