Sofia had been sleeping off and on and all Lili wanted to do was stare at her in disbelief. Of course she was still in a lot of pain so moving around the house wasn’t as easy as she wanted it to be but she was thankful to have made it to the store by herself. She couldn’t imagine trying to keep her close eye on Sof and shop with the pain she was in so she was thankful to have her mom around still to watch her.

Cradling Sofia in her arms, Lili smiled as she slowly rocked her back and forth. She had just fed her and was burping her when she heard the knock on the door, calling out to her mom to see if she could answer the door. She heard KJ’s voice in the other room and heard her mom tell him where she was. “Daddy’s here, baby girl. Wanna go see daddy?” She cooed to the newborn as KJ walked into the room. @kjapaxo​

They had only had Sofia for almost a month, and she was already KJ’s whole world. Anytime he had the pleasure of holding the little girl, KJ found himself lost in her eyes, smile making his heart stop whenever he would make funny noises at her. After finding out where his ex was, KJ rounded the corner to come face to face with his little girl. “Well hello there, Princess.” Keneti grinned, placing the bags he brought for dinner on the ground, arms outstretched so he could take his daughter into his arms. “Have you been a good girl for mommy?” the redhead asked as he rocked her ever so slightly, wrapping her little hand around his finger. “How are you feeling? Have you had a chance to take a nap at all today?” KJ asked, worry lacing his tone as he checked in on Lili.

You’re being very sweet. I promise I’m taking care of myself a little bit, she matters more to me right now but I promise I’ll accept a home cooked meal if you want to make it. What meal would this be?

When am I not sweet though? I like to think I’m the sweetest. It’s good that she matters a lot to you, but you still have to take yourself into consideration. If you won’t, I’ll have to take care of you myself. Well..what are you in the mood for?

Paige smiled and nodded “well it’s nice to meet you KJ and pizza? That certainly is the way to my heart you know .” She smiled picking up a slice taking a bite “well I’m here just to meet new people I suppose , what about you?”

Offering the female a wide smile as he perked up a bit as she took one of his slices. “I think that’s the way to anyone’s heart. I love my food, and the fact that I’m sharing with you right now is a big step for me. I’m actually surprised I still have pizza to offer right now.” Scratching at the back of his neck, KJ bobbed his head side to side as he reached for another slice. “I’m here to eat. My roommate wasn’t available, and all of my friends apparently have lives, so here I am.”

I know and I appreciate that so much, you know I do. I just feel like I’ve been stuck in my “Rachel Green mommy don’t leave me, I’m not ready yet” moment for a while and I want to be sure I can take care of her when she’s not here. But I know how much you love her too so, maybe stop by tonight? We can order in and just watch her sleep because that’s all I’ve wanted to do.

I know you’re not ready yet, but I also want to be sure you’re taking care of yourself as well. I don’t want you to stress yourself out, and I don’t want you to do this on your own. She’s my daughter too, and I want to do my part. How about I come over and cook dinner? I feel like you need something homemade.

Hey, you’ve been doing more than enough. I wanted to be able to handle just getting out of the house on my own and my mom watched Sof for me so it was all good. I tried going the breast-feeding route and it didn’t work very well for us so formula is what we’re doing. Girl has got an appetite which I like to think she acquired from both of us.

I just want to be more involved. You know how much being a dad means to me. I also hope you know that I’d be happy to take Sof anytime you need me to. I can see how tired you are, and I want to be able to give you the break you deserve. She’s literally the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen, so she can do whatever she wants.

I finally went grocery shopping today after like a month of procrastinating and ordering pizza and Taco Bell. I feel like I’m on my way to becoming a thriving and successful adult. I’m still going to eat leftover pizza for dinner, but still. Progress. @hollywoodangelshq​

Lils, you should of told me! I would of made a trip to the store for you. You need more to eat than just pizza and Taco Bell. I mean that can’t be great for the baby. I mean she gets nourishment from you, right? Isn’t that how that works? Or are you doing formula? This is really something I should know.

KJ was known for not paying much attention when he was shoving his face with food, and today was no different. Glancing up at the woman as a slice of pizza hung from his lips, Keneti pulled the slice away from his mouth as he spoke around the bite he currently tried to swallow. “It’s nice to meet you Paige!
