I haven’t touched this tumblr in a long time. I bet some of you will see this post on your dash like “Who the hell is this person and why am I following them?” and to answer that question, half of you are probably from Reddit and the other half followed me for Twitch Plays Pokemon stuff.

In any case, I’m relocating most of my art over to a new URL and I’ll be retiring this one in the short term, though I’m thinking of using it for personal stuff in the future. I likely won’t be posting anything of value here in the near future. Will be posting to the other.

I use an ancient version of openCanvas (version 4.5), and I don’t recommend it because it’s old and missing a lot of features that modern art programs have. For digital painting/drawing, Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI are both good options. If you’re short on cash, Krita is a good free alternative. Illustrator is more for making vectors, which is also very useful, but an entirely different beast from raster drawings. 

Apparently “Draw a desu Ether” was an item on my to-do list.

So I was at Fanime and my friend was all, “I’m at Banzai Arcade, come find me” and I was like “What’s Banzai Arcade?”
