The peace on here gave me the time to think about some stuff, and most of it is what has happened in the past months with Harry. Things that make me sad when I think about it again and here I feel somewhat safe to express my feelings and opinions on certain things.
To me it has been actually hard to understand why exactly harry is being held against such high expectations of what he should be doing or what he should be saying. This is something thatβs been happening for several years now but the past year it has gone through the roof to be honest.
People seem to have created some picture perfect persona of Harry in their minds. Now theyβve come to a point where they kind of want to project that onto the real life Harry. What bothers me most about this, is that they completely, like literally completely erased everything that Harry actually is and stands for.
They act as if heβs always been the worst, most ignorant person and that he needs to change ASAP because heβs horrible and thatβs what kind of scares me? Like who do they think theyβre stanning exactly? Are we seeing a completely different person?
Because in my opinion no one has to be up his arse to see how good of a person he is. But even if you are up his arse (by the way itβs pretty cozy up there) then youβd still be able to acknowledge that even Harry isnβt perfect, he is human too. He is young, and with his job there comes a lot of responsibility and Iβm his age and I canβt imagine what that might do to one that age. I assume itβs a lot and still hard to wrap you head around.
Tho I almost feel like thereβs people that kind of for get whatβs behind the name Harry Styles? He is just like us. He has his insecurities, heβs had his heart broken, heβs probably broken some hearts himself, heβs made mistakes and probs learned from them. He has feelings and I canβt imagine what it must feel like being held to such a high standard just at the age of 26 when youβre pretty much figuring life out still?
In the past few years I have never, not once, seen any other celebrity being held to such an insanely unrealistic high standard. Nor have I seen such fake outrages on any other celebrity. Itβs weird because youβd think that someone whoβs done far worse things than Harry kind of deserves some outrage, nah? I donβt think itβs going to affect his career at all, nor do I really think itβs doing anything major bad things to his mental health as heβs clever enough to stay away from social media.
But it just hurts me to see my fav being dragged this way for being pretty much a very good person. I think thereβs many, many people that could some notes from him actually.
The lengths that people will go to bring him down are insane and it hurts me to see how people just have no empathy at all. Maybe social media should be atleast 21+ because itβs apparent that a lot of younger people cannot handle the use of it.
Anyway this was my rant and I just needed to get it out.
