Just fyi, before I do anything, I just wanna let you know that I overal enjoy the Skullgirls comic, but it does have some glaring issues that have frustrated me for a while
You see this? This is Cerebella
She’s one of the more complex characters in Skullgirls, but the main thing you need to know is that she’s a good person. A good person who, unfortunately, was raised by the mafia after her actual family was killed. She’s still a good person, but in a bad crowd, and this clouds her judgement.
I want you to remember this. Why? Because THE WEBCOMIC ASSASSINATED HER CHARACTER SO HARD I WANNA HOLD AN IRL FUNERAL.
Now, this might seem ridiculous, but holy FUCK. It feels like every time she’s on screen they go out of their way to make sure she’s as unlikeable as possible, from making her a short tempered asshole who has yet to show a hint of sympathy, to making her whine about going in a sewer to Eliza, a character who would take WAAAAY more issue with it than Cerebella. Especially since in the context of the scene, they are one an extremely important mission that Cerebella wouldn’t want to risk messing up, while Eliza is just being paid by them for this job, she has zero loyalty to them. I think you can see the problem with that. And honestly? I could go on, but it would just boil down to me whining about every scene she’s in. Because there is not a SINGLE good thing I can say about comic Cerebella
