I feel uncomfortable with aging

For my birthday I got a 512 MB stick of RAM for my thinkpad 600x that i thought i needed. turns out the stick that was already in the laptop worked fine so i guess it has triple the memory it started out with so that’s fire. I also was able to replace the CMOS battery by taping the solder tabs that were off the old battery to the new one. So now all i need to do is get a hard drive (and it’s chassis) and a floppy disk or disc drive.

I’m finally restoring the IBM Thinkpad 600x that i bought for 15 bucks like 2 years ago. This journey has been less than 12 hours and i’m already exhausted trying to find parts for this god forsaken machine.

It’s crazy that I can somehow hate someone i’ve never spoken to or even seen in my entire life.

Have I finally been removed from your memory.
