Ok im sorry I have to come out and admit this, yes I am a fan of the game (both this and the sequel). I don’t know why in particular I like this game a lot more than I should have, but one thing is particular, Harvey deserves so much better (even if I do make him suffer sometimes too)

I’d figure I’d show the other twp completed pieces that were also included in my portfolio (yeah its also not my best pieces, but atp its kinda whatever). Along with also showing some of my sketchbook pages where I was drafting and brainstorming for the pieces that I would eventually make, even including notes of my thought process during that time.

Columbina fanart dump

Ever since the new AMA special featuring Columbina, I’d figure I’d share the loads of fanart I’ve made that included her. If it’s not apparent she is one of my FAVORITE TFC characters just based off of the lore alone and how interesting she is if not for design reasons(or the lack there of…which I had to improvise by coming with different design interpretations of her…thats also inconsistent as well…please I hope for an official design so I can stop changing her appearance everytime I draw her 😭).

Yeah I also figure I’d show the sketch for this as well cuz why not. Not gonna lie, when it comes to the digital pieces I make in AF, I always try to experiment more with my style. I’ve come to the realization that most of my digital pieces (at least the fully rendered ones) feels very….static. Like they don’t really have the same texture or feel compared to my traditional art pieces. It feels like im stuck trying to find a style that fully suits me, at least in a digital sense, but with this piece in particular, it feels like im close to finding it (not by a long shot, but its still there). But yeah heres the art I made for revenge:

-Sol (originallymarysue): Saw thus guy in particular and thought they looked very silly and wanted to draw them digitally with some slight experimentation on the background

Yeah theres not a lot from today but, again, I don't wanna overwork myself on these (they are for fun after all) and also because I wanted to work more on my original stuff and whatnot. But yeah with that being said, here's the rundown of today's attacks:

-Pitiful (McSlash): Yes I saw a stickfigure character while scrolling on recent characters and knew I HAD to draw this dude (its my first full body attack too lol), it was surprisingly fun to draw too lowkey

Tragedy

-Kaz (calzwrld): I loved their aline character and how badass she looked and wanted to draw them

No Art Fight post for today (wanted to take a break from drawing for a bit) However I will interest you in this redraw of Fritz in his newer design compared to how I first drew him

Thats right I got a couple of attacks on my characters and I figure I'd do my first set of revenge art today and here's what I got:

-Aurie (staryart): I saw this scene girl in particular and she looked so cute I had to draw her (and I was so locked in doing so too)

Tragedy

-Mars SCP AU (MechaMars): I really couldn't decide who to draw in their lineup so I picked a random number and stubbed on their SCP oc which I really liked and read the lore from (which they had on the character's description)

Overall not a lot today, I was planning on doing more but I just called it a night and played a bit of video games

I did less than yesterday, but honestly I think that might be for the best (I don’t wanna end up burning myself out doing this). Switched to digital for the time being since I found it easier for myself to draw on my iPad and didn’t wanna end up hurting my hand too much drawing traditionally all the time (I essentially like to switch between digital and traditional art for these attacks, depending on how im feeling that day 😅). With that being said, here are the attacks I did for today:

Tragedy

-Jocosa (m1kai): I love their cool medieval looking jester character and wanted to drew them out (I was eying this one before the event started too)

-ILOVEYOU (xotilweoverdose): The iDog looking character caught my attention in particular and though they looked soo cute, I also figure I’d do something interesting for the background for a change

Mystery

-Chroma (@mariibeann): Idk how tagging works on this app so I apologize if it doesn’t 😭, but their username on here and AF should be the same. But anyways I came across them on YT and really liked their art and figure I’d do an attack on one of their characters that I found cute

Ok so one thing I did knew was how slow the site was gonna be but man it took me forever to get the refs loading AND to submit the attacks I made (which is still happening as im typing 💀). But other than that, my first time with Art Fight is going super well and I had so much fun drawing these characters. Although I think after today, I might switch over to drawing digitally since the pen was starting to bleed through a bit in a couple of these pages (my apologies) and also because doing the last 2 drawings made me realize "yeah I should've probably made them digital honestly" (granted I still like how they turn out, but thats just what I feel). I also did not know character connections was a thing...I might have to change some stuff from my profile later tonight (if the site will load by then). Since im here yapping, I might as well walk through each attack I made with character and username (2 for each team is my strategy):

Comedy

-Zhen (andrewhussie): Yes the creator of Homestuck is on here I just wanna have an excuse to draw one of his characters and this gal appealed to me (also due to how I couldn't decide who to draw so I just picked a random number 😅)

-Neneko (ActuallyRea): One of my favorite Youtubers is joining this year again and honestly, just like first one, I wanna have an excuse to draw their characters from their PRISM series (it was either them or Apollo that I wanted to draw lol)

Tragedy

-Dot (LaConchaConejitaa): She looked so adorable I had to draw her, but all their other OCs looked supper cute too (and honestly this is my fav piece so far, character was fun to work with)

-Blair (AnaTheGhost): This gal in particular caught my attention and I love her vibe

Mystery

-Echo (TheAceOfShovels): They had a random character gacha and I ended up with this dude, who I also ended up liking (albeit it was also the point where I realized I should've switched to digital and felt my hand in a bit of pain)

-Abella (Sammydog17): She looked so cute and I love her outfit, although I did had a bit of trouble drawing her but still like how this turned out
