La vénus bleue 🦋 Sonadow fic (bonus chapter)

Yes, I've added a bonus chapter to this story after a few months! ✨ I hadn't planned on doing any of this, but since the album this fic is based on recently got a sequel, I couldn't resist and had to write something.

This bonus chapter doesn't affect the original timeline of the story, and in fact, it only narrates Sonic's last years before he died and how he and Shadow deal with it. Yes, it's painful, but I also made sure it was beautiful. I hope you'll allow me to break your hearts once again 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹

All righty, the time has come for me to share the brand-new fic I have been working on for the 2026 Sonadow Exchange! I had a lot of fun writing this one, so I hope you all enjoy reading it!!!

Summary:

Shadow is livid when G.U.N. sends him on a trivial mission to oversee the delivery of a package across the country, viewing it as a waste of his time and talent. However, that isn’t even the worst part of it— Sonic of all people is the assigned driver for their little road trip.

Though Shadow is determined to prevent things from getting too friendly, the more time they spend stuck together, the more obvious it becomes that Sonic is concealing something. He acts strangely when the sun goes down, hiding away and speaking in a husky, deep voice, and as Shadow’s curiosity grows, it is only a matter of time before he discovers Sonic’s midnight secret.

The remaining chapters are to be uploaded on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Since all the chapters are completed, none of these dates will be skipped, so we have about a month of uploading left before the full fic is up.

This prompt was 'under the influence' but Sonic is the one doing all that.
