This year I got to the spot where the spring beauties, Claytonia virginica, are before they were mowed. They’re wonderful mixed with violets!

From a walk this morning. Some things are finishing up but more things are just starting. Trout lilies in the woods and the old weeping cherry I always visit are in the second category. A lot more beauty yet to come. And bird migration is barely getting going.
