Fundraiser by Arlene Allen : Help Arlene and Sara Get a New Car Battery
Hi guys, it feels a bit weird to do this, but we really do need the help.
My mom and I are both disabled (and I am queer on top of that), she's retired (and couldn't work anyway even if she wanted to) and I've been struggling to find work for nearly a year and a half now (when McDonald's ghosts you...). We are literally living on my mom's pension and disability and that's...well, we have money for bills! And maybe sometimes groceries, thank god for food banks. It's been really rough, even with the dearly appreciated help of loved ones.
Not to mention I was just in the hospital overnight a couple weeks ago for a flare up of my disability, and my mom had some bad falls last month that made her own condition a lot worse.
So, help needed! In this case we desperately need a new battery; our brake light system had an issue a while back that kept running the battery out, and by the time we got that fixed, the battery is now so fucked I have to literally jump start it every time we need to drive. Which is...bad, especially in this 90+ degree heat. Hence, we desperately need a new battery before it screws up other car systems, as this is a 10+ yr old car we cannot afford to replace entirely, so...yeah.
We need about $340 rounded up, but any little bit over that will go solely to necessities like, uh, food and meds. Thank you SO MUCH for help in advance if you can.
