“You’ve never had caffeine? What kind of idiot are you? Oh, you stopped smoking and drinking, that explains a lot. Your body would be fine, it’d be like starting over probably. For adrenaline? Hurt people, slay my enemies, set things on fire, sleep with inappropriate men. Don’t even start to lecture me.”

“We do not have caffeine in Sugar Rush, only sugar -- which I guess is a different stimulant. Mhm, sort of had to. But if I did do it again, that might send me down a slippery slope...That’s an mixture. Do you tend to do those all at once or is this a depends on the day, sort of thing?”

Ariston watched as the man fell to the table in relief “Headache, sounds like you need a drink. Let me guess girl issues….boy issues?” he narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment “Baby Issues?”

“I could use a glass of water...And no. Not girl or boy issues. How did you figure out I had a child?”

“I don’t think anybody’s too much for me. I suggest you drink some caffeine and man up. Oh, that’s what happened. You had a kid and got all soft. Gross. Well, you’re no fun. What usually gets your adrenaline going?”

“I could have been, trust me. Caffeine? Never had that before...Got soft? Fine. Maybe that is true. But I haven’t drank or smoked in months, I don’t even know how my body would react if I started that all again. What did you normally do?”

“Oh, I am perfectly fine, believe me!” he went over the sound system and turned it off “see now wasn’t that easy, all this time complaining and you could have  done it yourself” 

Falling down on the table as the music turned off, Kitiver sighed happily. “I could have, but I rather not. Getting to my feet with this headache, it feels like I am dying.”

“If you think that’s loud then I think you might want to get your ears checked”

“Oh yeah -- My ears are pretty good. I think you should check yourself out.”

“Gods, you’re boring. It’s not time to sleep, sleep when you’re dead. Speaking of which, you look like death. What’s wrong with you?”

“Boring? That’s new. People used to think I was too much for them, but I guess a lot has happened. What would you suggest I do then? I am not dead, just deprived of sleep. My daughter still wakes up in the middle of the night. We were so close to, I don’t know what has gotten into her.”

“Plug your ears grandpa, it’s not that loud.”

“For someone who hardly gets any sleep, it is loud. I want to take a nap, not listen to whatever the hell this is.”

“Chocolate is sweet but seeing her face would be sweeter.” It would have been rewarding to see how she got in the way of his love life. “More popular. Please. Don’t fool yourself, babe. I was just jealous at all the hot girls you got.” Jazz teased, reaching forward to steal a kiss. “It had nothing to do with the fact I want you all to myself or anything.” She muttered inches away from him. “Ruin me? Is that why I never got callbacks the next day?”

“Make sure my poor innocent sister get back home safely and not take a detour to somewhere else…now! you look like someone who knows his liquor so what would you recommend?” 

“I see, you don’t want them to get hurt. I can understand that...That all depends on your taste. You want something strong?”

“No! Of course not. I’m just saying to respect Wonder Woman, that’s all. What’s one of those girls? You mean nerdy, right? I’m sort of used to that. So short sleeves…I thought this was supposed to be like a sports bra, honestly. Oh, I don’t like to show off my body. I don’t think…no, I don’t know what my assets are. I went to the store in the village! Some girl helped me, a blonde. Maybe she was just making fun of me, though.”

“I think it’s funnier if you were dissing yourself. But okay, I respect Wonder Woman. She’s a cool girl, kind of patriotic, but you know -- her game is fun. Mhm. Yeah, that sort of girl. Nothing wrong with being a nerdy, sometimes it’s cute...It is sort of like one. Except I never saw a sports bra with long sleeves. No? Why not, it’s hot. Usually people show their body off when they want to impress someone, attract attention and all. Assets are usually in the chest area and the butt. When you went to the village, did the girl happen to be named Jazz?”

“That’s rude…to Wonder Woman, I mean. First of all, I have a Wonder Woman costume, and it looks nothing like this. And secondly…I didn’t choose the color scheme. I thought it should be short sleeved, but the lady insisted it wasn’t meant to be that way! I don’t see why I need to have my stomach showing, either.” 

“Did you just diss yourself? I’m not -- Lets not comment about that. Mhm, I bet you do. You look like one of those girls, fangirling over a cartoon comic. Ah, one issue at a time. First, short sleeve is always the way to go. Secondly, the stomach showing. Well most people like to show off their body, assets and all. You can wear a shirt over it, if you aren’t comfortable. Where did you get this stuff again?”
