I hear the gentle waves crashing shore

The sand sizzles as the water draw

The gulls called and screamed in sync

As coconut leaves rustle in the wind

An alleviation then ensues

Through a calming tune, this ocean blues

The sun that sets horizon,

Is the one that feeds the trees

The sun that woke the birds,

Is the one that dries the lake

How does one gets perceived by many?

A glow worm you may be to others

But a firefly you are, my darling

Wandering off, you try to hide

You twinkle in blue without you knowing

Spreading the glow amidst the night

A binding string that tugs and pull

A firm believer, I’m no fool

In every fight, there will be crease

For all I want is to be at ease

If my weakness is all that you observe

Then peace is what I truly deserve

I stared at my feet against the floor

A crippling emotion begins to crawl

Am I having trouble to confess?

How I was actually coping and depress

That perfect wife may be in denial

As promised that this is all a trial

We stumble through repeated tests

Will we eventually reach the crest?

Well it does get lonely in here

To be married with emotional baggage

Well it does get frustrating in here

To be afraid withholding a grudge

Well it does get exhausting in here

Though is this a loop, that will not budge?

Ribbons of colour stream through the sky

As beaming rays scorch the clouds

Peering eyes through gaps of my fingers

A smile suddenly appears and lingers

Are you my something blue?

Or are you my something fluke?

My love, you see I never doubted

My love, you see I never flouted

The more I yearn, the more I’m hurt

Your warm embrace, acts like a girt

As you walk away, I’d surely struggle

My arms reach out to you, as I coggle

Two to tango, two to clap

Two to marriage, two to grasp

A fragmented steering wheel, making rounds

Their passion gets buried, though keeps on burning

Year by year, they’re compromising

Emerge with bruises but still a whole

As affection grows deep just like a mole

On anniversary they call it, their vows reroll.
