Mina Fish Market

Just been playing with HDR, first time doing it, and not really sure about the results.  Will keep playing, but thought I should show you my first try! 

This is the road leading to the peak of Jebel Hafeet.  It was a pretty fun drive, as you can imagine - it was actually labelled the best driving road in the world, and my wee Nissan played a blinder! 

Appartently this carpet is the largest in the world, weighing in at c.4T, and took 1,200 Iranian ladies 2 years to hand make.  Pretty impressive carpet.  The marble and semi-precious stones were ok too.

This is a view looking down Jebel Hafeet towards Al Ain and the rest of Abu Dhabi.  Pretty beautiful place.

Nice Rugs! 

So I was walking around Meena Market in Abu Dhabi today, and met this nice Turkish man who tried to sell me a carpet.  I don't really need a carpet, but got this nice photo!
