𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙨𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 ☀️

The Trillion Peso March is a series of mass protests in the Philippines held on September 21 and November 30, 2025. The protests respond to the alleged corruption in government flood control infrastructure projects adding up to ₱𝟭.𝟵 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 spent over the past 15 years.

The rally, organised by the Kilusang Bayan Kontra-Kurakot or the People’s Movement Against Corruption (KBKK), began at the Luneta National Park in Manila on Sunday, with protesters marching on to the presidential palace.

𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬.

It is the last display of public anger over the “Trillion-Peso” scandal, in which powerful politicians, including Marcos’s allies, are accused of pocketing billions of pesos in bribes for contracts on flood-control infrastructure that ended up being defective or were never built at all.

The 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 edition of the Trillion Peso March formally concluded at 6:07 PM at the People Power Monument in Quezon City.

According to Kiko Aquino Dee, one of the event organizers, this year’s anti-corruption gathering was “a success.”

Initial crowd estimates placed attendance at 33,000 to 55,000 throughout the day, with participants coming and going despite a heavy downpour in the afternoon.

Among those who took the stage were Rep. Leila de Lima, beauty queen Catriona Gray, comedian and actress Pokwang, Mitch Valdez, bands such as Ben&Ben, indie artist Amiel Sol, and speakers Elijah Canlas, former Usec. Cielo Magno, and actress Pinky Amador.
