In the Philippines the words "crocodile" and "buwaya" are used for corrupt leaders and officials. The corruption is so bad even the crocodiles themselves are joining the protest tomorrow!

On the left is the largest living reptile, a saltwater crocodile (𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘺𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘶𝘴), and beside them is the smaller but Critically Endangered Philippine crocodile (𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘺𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴) that lives in just a few rivers in the country.

Year after year floods continue to ravage the Philippines, but now we know that at up to P118 billion pesos or $2.1 billion dollars have been lost due to “ghost” flood projects, or projects that were poorly done, or never done at all! (PH Department of Finance). This is just from preliminary estimates regarding flood control. Who knows how much has been siphoned from other projects, especially for the environment.

These crocodiles are hangry!

As of September 21 2025, 50,000 Filipinos in Luneta Park alone have come together to protest against corruption. From Luzon all the way to Mindanao. At first, it was just peaceful protests in Manila. No violence, but around 5 pm to midnight near manila, u-belt, and mendiola Bridge, Filipinos were advised to find safe areas just in case because it was proven that police/swat armed themselves and were permitted open fire on civilans. things have turned violent. People started burning Police motorcycles and barriers and even went to As far as attacking Policemen, causing them to shoot innocent civilians. As of right now, 30+ students who were protesting were ziplocked and arrested. Dozens more who went missing, some were just innocent civilians who happen to live around the area of the rally.

Around 11pm, it was alleged that dorms in UE, FEU, and UST are being broken into by police. Dozens of Filipinos were murdered and attacked by police simply because they chose to fight against corrupt politicians. It is also rumored that the Philippines will be experiencing a MEDIA BLACKOUT to prevent others from spreading awareness of our situation. WHO DO WE CALL IF POLICE ARE THE MURDERS?

To my fellow Filipinos, IF YOU'RE NOT ANGRY, WHY NOT? hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of Filipinos are drowning in floods because politicians chose to stay greedy and use taxpayers' money to live a Lavish lifestyle while millions of Filipinos are starving!! Speek up! Use your voice to fight against these government officials!!

We want change. We want justice. We want transparency laws in place. We are angry, tired, and fed up because this kind of situation has been going on for decades, and NOTHING has been done. So please,
