There's a ton of ways to, and he kept hitting the 'do or cook things they like' and 'take them to places that correspond to their interests' but...

"... I don't know enough about Daisuke-kun..."

Rui mused.

"... He likes ramen, right? I remember the first time we met he wanted me to pay for wasting his ramen..."

"... I never properly apologized for the nuisance I was to him and the others. Maybe... I could to that, I will... Invite him to go out and eat ramen... Or I will offer myself to taste whatever he cooks."

Weird enough, at this point he should've known enough about Daisuke, but he still felt some distance... His poor brain cannot get to ask enough about people's lives. He thinks it's invading their privacy and creeping them out by asking questions about their personal lives.

Yet, Daisuke had been very (?) patient with him and his struggles. And he wanted so much to do more for Daisuke, so...

He sent a text to Daisuke, asking him to come see him at the café shop. There's nothing wrong with asking a few questions, right? But can he simply plan something in secret and dodge any suspicion, or question about why he is asking those??

He had asked in the past if the day was terribly busy or if Rui had worked too hard, but the answer was 'no' often enough that he'd ascertained that the cafe just wasn't that kind of place.

"Today an American with a cowboy hat came to the store!! The boss always makes me talk to the tourists since I'm good at English." His hands started to move animatedly as he shared his side of the day. "He had a daughter with an itabag, I guess they probably came to Japan for her...My parents never came with me overseas before, maybe I should take them someday!"

He retained a lot of people and strangers...relative to more important things like dates for doctor's appointments or paperwork. After all, the former was just way more fun.

She pauses. How did he know they were only four if it was trying to kill him every day for a month? Where were the priorities of information set in this person's mind?

"Beelzemon is at least old enough to ride a motorcycle. Though I didn't exactly ask the giant undead were lion, how old it was when it tried to eat me."

'Fine' was a strong assessment in and of itself, of course, but with confidence, Daisuke is surely the most stable and least affected party of his friend group.

That is, perhaps, somewhat due to a low bar.

So the Beelzemon is at least sixteen? Why does it sound like she has no idea how old he is either?
