Kisaragi Attraction

As they predicted, not only did that one single Tauros caught her attention, several more came to sight, much more than the Miltanks.

Suddenly, they heard a shaking sound, as the ground beneath them trembled.

"You won’t get answers that way…" He hums a bit before looking around. "First we’ll try it on a female pokemon. We’ll see how she reacts- but make sure you try to focus all your energy on her, alright?" He looks around and spots a rather feminine looking pokemon for the approach.

As she intently focused her gaze, she was surprised that not only one Miltank caught her attention but two more came in her line of sight and moved towards them.

"When I first came here... I got chased by a pack of Poochyena, then a swarm of Beedrill, woke up an Ursaring, almost got carried off by Fearow..."

"Um... I'm not really sure..." Well, technically, she couldn't tell because every time she caught a crowd, she usually ditched and ran.

"You shouldn’t let this beat you up, you know…?" He reassures her, his ears flattening for a moment. He chuckles a little before cupping the apple into her hands and letting his own hands rest under the back of her’s. "I hear that a lot of smaller pokemon get picked on out here because they look like easy ways to gain experience… You just need more training.. Then you can control whatever power that this world gifted you with." 

The smaller mouse couldn't stop the tears that fell down from her eyes and hiccuped, while rubbing her eyes. Now she felt ugly, crying like a big baby in front of a stranger, who barely knew anything about her. Receiving pity only made her want to cry more. 

"But it's not even a useful power... *hic* All it does is attract me trouble... I never *hic* wanted a power like this..."

And suddenly she felt something dropped into her palms and looked down to see an apple. Looking back up at the Raichu, he was giving her back a kind, reassuring smile. Wiping her tears, Momo looked back down on the apple glumly.

He was a little disappointed that this had happened. It was way too much fish to sell- but he would have to make due. He would feast tonight and eat as much as he could… Or he could ask that Absol to take most of it. But that part wasn’t of his concern right now- he would collect the floating fish in a moment.

"Are you alright?" He released his arm, wrapped around the girl. There was no lingering Beedrill and she was safe. He wouldn’t get mad at her, she was in danger. Although now they were sopping wet, and waist-deep in the water.

He chuckles, as if trying to make the best of the situation at hand. Placing a careful hand on top of her head and a soft reassuring pat.

This power the girl had little control over was absolutely troubling her to no end. This wasn't the first time a dangerous situation like this had happened. If she hadn't crashed into this stranger who saved her, she would have been hurt really badly. Why was she so weak and always getting into trouble? Why? She didn't want this... To suffer all this attention...

It all felt so frustrating and overwhelming that she could cry. And she was.

Drooping her wet ears down, she sniffed softly, poking one of the discharged fish.
