literally the only "m/f ship bashing" that goes on that i've seen is either because 1) a lot of m/f pairings just aren't good for other reasons (frasey/engsey, rusbel, lietbel) or 2) because it's something like gernyoita in which they just give italy boobies and go "omg 😍 that's so much cuter!" neither of these are disliked because they're m/f, but because they're rooted in incest or abusive behavior (1) or homophobia (2).
