That’s it. That’s all of the good reasons.

Every interaction between them is GOLD. They joke around, care about each other, compliment each other, declare their love, say badass phrases, and they even talk about marriage, or how they feel/would feel without the other.

And not to talk about their design, which is stunning… And their shared recall is just too adorable.

About the voices, I’ve heard complaints, and I myself was surprised when I saw that Rakan talked like that, because I was expecting more like sensual talking and so on… But it was a pleasant surprise because it actually made me laugh and appreciate all the more when he sounds serious around Xayah, and then I realized he probably has to sound loud and somewhat annoying to act as a better diversion so that Xayah can do her job.

To be honest, at first I thought Rakan was going to be pretty much like just charming, sensual and flirty 24/7, and with a velvety voice even when he dies… And then I got this loud, adorable dork with bad memory who can be sexy at the same time, and that is sooo in love with his girl and that would defend her to death without a doubt.

My first thoughts about Xayah was that she would probably be an intelligent, badass and serious warrior that would be “hard on the exterior, soft on the interior” (aka “tsundere”), and that she would probably let love words for intimacy or something, just not saying it out loud, or even being like “just leave the love words for later”… But instead, I got an intelligent, badass warrior that is deep in love with her beautiful dork and doesn’t give a fuck about saying it out loud (she even BRAGS about him) and just gets carried away sometimes by his enthusiasm (like, for example, when he started humming a song and she eventually followed him).

And they worry so much about each other… <3

They’re, literally, LOVEBIRDS. Epic, deadly, beautiful lovebirds. Oh, and… that “I love you” / “I know” interaction… 100/10.
