Lizzie x Landon Headcannons
Landon is still moping around after Hope broke up with him and Lizzie’s also feeling down about something (maybe she finally told MG she only see’s him as a friend and feels bad about letting him down). They bump into each at the mill, during a party, and since they’re both sad and in need of some company, they end up hooking up.
The next morning, Lizzie realizes what she did and is disgusted with herself while Landon is equally as surprised about hooking up and tells her that was his first time.
Lizzie basically threatens him to not tell a soul and they pretend like nothing happened, but there’s always some awkward tension between them.
Landon wants to tell Rafael just to get it off his chest but changes his mind because he thinks now being eskimo brothers with his best friend is an even more awkward conversation.
One day, while dealing with a monster, the squad pairs up Lizzie and Landon and they end up hooking up once again.
From then on they become friends with benefits, but are sure to keep it secret, especially from Hope and Josie.
Then finally the squad walks in on them making out. The whole squad is totally baffled and Landon and Lizzie have lots of explaining to do.
Even though they’re hooking up, she still tries to not think about the fact that she’s attracted to Landon.
Whenever anyone brings it up its always “we don’t talk about that.”
Lizzie insists that it’s just sex and continues to insult him on a regular basis.
But now Landon has something to throw back at her.
She hates it whenever he brings up their relationship or tries to act flirty.
“You just ruined your chances of getting laid.”
And when they do have sex, Lizzie always tells him to shut up.
It’s safe to say that their relationship is on Lizzie’s terms.
The only thing worse than Lizzie being attracted to Landon is actually catching feelings for him.
Instead of just getting dressed right after and leaving, Lizzie starts to sleep over more and more.
She also took it upon herself to watch the Star Wars movies to try to understand what Landon is always talking about.
Josie teased her for liking Landon after she noticed her talking (and ranting) about it quite a bit.
“Are you sure don’t like him?”
And Lizzie heavily denied it.
Landon was the one who confronted her about their relationship and was surprisingly bold too.
He even initiated the kiss.
Although she ended up admitting her feelings and labeling their relationship as an official relationship, they took time announcing it publicly.
Not because she was ashamed to be with Landon, but because she finally didn’t care about what others thought about their relationship.
as much as Lizzie shits on Landon’s fashion sense she tries to find ways to work flannel into her wardrobe.
Speaking of his fashion, Lizzie definitely picks out some his outfits and has even gone as far to by him new clothes.
Hope and Josie have pointed out how funny it is that she went from talking all this shit about them dating Landon to her dating him.
“It’s totally different. You think I would choose to like Landon?? No offense, Babe.”
Landon always make sure to check on her after he hears that she had an episode and doesn’t leave until he’s sure that she’s okay.
Seeing how much he cares always manages to surprise Lizzie because she never really got that from any other her exes.
You would think that Landon would be the clingy one in the relationship but secretly it’s Lizzie as much as she wants to maintain her appearance.
