New Ending Spoilers Below. Don't click if you don't want to know.
LAST WARNING!!!
After reading up on the new endings, I think I'll just stick to the Star ending. Live life to the fullest with the time you have left.
I gotta admit, I'm slightly disappointed they didn't address Carly and Freddie's first time together. Well not the details itself, but the awkwardness that can lead up to it. I've been in that position, I was physically intimate as an adult with a friend who I've known since childhood.
That initial hurdle is very unique. It's really an evolution of what you've always had and there are challenges to overcome. It would've been interesting to see that unfold, as they go from friends with a long history to a level of physical intimacy that they've never had together before.
I can understand why they skipped over it, but after such a LONG wait it's kind of weird how this very significant step didn't get any time at all. You could be fooled into believing they hadn't even done it yet before the pregnancy misunderstanding because there were no indicators whatsoever.
It kinda feels like the show is trying to straddle the line between showing these characters as adults now while not addressing the other things about being an adult like they're trying to appeal to an audience that grew up with the show and can handle more adult situations in their entertainment now, and also appeal to an audience that feels weird about these characters being in adult situations after watching them grow up as kids on the previous show.
What the people who have a problem with Chris and Alba's age difference see when they think about their relationship.

I cannot even begin to tell you how little I give a shit about the whole Sabine surviving a lightsaber wound discourse. It's so ridiculously irrelevant that it's baffling how focused people are on it. At this point, there are more situations where characters have survived being stabbed by a lightsaber than not.
It's weird that everyone knows plot armor exists but then tries to pointlessly explain around it as if it doesn't. It's plot armor. That's the beginning, middle, and end.
Concerns
Is it three movies or six episodes released two at a time? Because those are two very different things. I'm happy to get more, don't get me wrong, but this feels dragged out. It took years just to get the second season, and now, if we're lucky, we'll get a "movie" equivalent of two episodes once a year for three years, and that's only if they release a movie once a year. It could be once every two years. We still don't even know if the actors are returning yet, and if they aren't, then what's the point?
Like I said, I'm excited for more, but there's a lot we don't know. It kinda feels like just to get it back they cut the number of episodes and then split them up with an incredibly long wait in between.
I swear, between Lois, Clark, and Jimmy there are only three total brain cells. Clark has two of them, but one malfunctions sometimes, and Lois and Jimmy don't even split the remaining one down the middle, they just toss it back and forth at the start of each episode and one has to go without.
I’m still thinking about that neck nuzzle. It’s never far from my mind.

No one ships Clive and Jill more than every friend and ally they have. I’m absolutely certain they have a long-running bet on how long it’s going to take for them to hook up and I’d bet anything Cid was the one who started it.
Carly having an emotional reaction every time Freddie expresses his feelings for her is really selling these scenes. She was brought to tears by him telling her what she already knows, but wants to hear anyway. We haven’t truly ever seen her like this with anyone before.
Freddie and Carly are currently in the “honeymoon phase” of their relationship. Although it’s a lot of fun, and very vindicating, to see, I wonder what’s going to happen when they leave that phase.
Not going to lie, I kinda hope the show addresses the awkwardness that can come with sleeping with someone who you’ve known since childhood. That first step to physical intimacy is significant. It’s not the same as sleeping with someone you recently met. I can definitely see an entire episode based around them wanting to but both refusing to push.
Unexpected
I can respect the fact that after the acknowledgment of feelings the show wasted absolutely ZERO time, but I’m also a bit disappointed that Carly didn’t really need to pine for Freddie nearly as much as he did for her. It was amusing seeing Carly on the other end of that for the first couple of episodes.
But considering the number of shows that absolutely would’ve waited until the last minute of the last episode for them to finally get together, I can appreciate that we have the entire rest of the season to see them together.

No Romance?
Jenna recently said they’re going to remove all romance from the show. I said in a previous post that would be one of the likely outcomes, and would definitely include Wenclair. However, Wyler, Wenvier and Wenclair shippers are not in the same boat here.
Wyler and Wenvier was entirely existent because of the romantic aspect of their relationship with Wednesday. They were never really “friends” they were romantic interests and they were written that way. Wenclair was written as friends, the “romantic” aspect of that relationship came from the shippers.
Both the hetero ships basically lose the entire basis for their ship’s existence because of this no romance policy, meanwhile this doesn’t impact the Wenclair fandom at all. Yeah they won’t be canon, but Wenclair shippers knew that was a strong possibility right from the start.
With this no romance policy, the concept of Wyler and Wenvier dies, but the worst the Wenclair fandom gets is...more Wenclair. Everything Wenclair shippers loved in the first season they’re going to get even more of in the second.
It was already said that they wanted to put more focus on Wednesday and Enid’s relationship going forward. This is a massive step back for the Wyler and Wenvier shippers with no option to progress any further, while Wenclair is merely sidestepping.
It’s unfortunate Wenclair will never be canon, but if the result is that they keep having all of these deeply personal and special moments together then that’s one hell of a consolation prize. They get more of what they love about Wenclair? What a shame...a true loss.
“You know I like them short and nerdy.”
Carly, your dating history does not reflect that in the least. In fact, your type has mostly been the complete opposite of that.
