Okoye is super overprotective. She is constantly reminding Riri of all the things she’d do if she ever hurt Shuri. Although she wouldn’t admit it right away Okoye really does love Riri and is glad Shuri found her.

Really all of the Dora Milaje are protective of Shuri. Shuri finally told them to lay off when she noticed several members of the dora milaje would always conveniently be present at whatever restaurant or place Shuri and Riri went on their dates.

Shuri is a clothes stealer. She is always stealing Riri’s hoodies and sweatpants claiming they’re more comfy than her own. Riri claims to be annoyed by it but she loves the way Shuri looks in her clothes.

They are constantly arguing over who gets to drive. They usually come up with some silly game like rock paper scissors to settle who will drive for the night,

They both have super fucked up sleep schedules. They spend a lot of long nights together in the lab fueled entirely by loud music and caffeine. When they make a breakthrough they usually celebrate by sleeping in late and eating brunch in bed.

While they enjoy going out their favorite dates consist of staying in and playing video games together. They’re both quite competitive and take Mario Kart extremely seriously.

Shuri is super nervous to meet Riri’s family. Like she is more nervous for the “meet the parents” dinner than she has ever been for an important political event. She spends weeks finding the right outfit and practices conversation topics. They (of course) love her and are still slightly perplexed about how Riri came to be dating Wakandan royalty.
